A bold retail launch designed to inspire creativity

Overview

Wella Professionals Color Fresh Create is a

semi-permanent hair colour range designed for creative freedom. Featuring vibrant, intermixable shades that fade true-to-tone, the range empowers stylists to experiment with bold colour expression without long-term commitment. 

Challenge

As a new product launch, the objective was to drive immediate awareness while converting early interest into measurable sales.

This required a fully integrated, omnichannel strategy from day one ensuring the product launched with impact across all consumer and retail touchpoints.

The challenge was to:

  • Build anticipation within a highly competitive market

  • Translate early engagement into commercial performance

  • Create a standout in-store presence to drive product discovery

  • Sustain momentum beyond launch to maintain relevance

  • Deliver a cohesive brand experience across all channels

Solution

Developed and executed a fully integrated, omnichannel launch strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and in-store conversion.

The campaign combined high-impact retail with supporting print, CRM, and digital content to create a cohesive customer journey from discovery through to purchase.

Wholesale Activation (FSDU)
Designed a custom FSDU unit to hero the range in-store, incorporating an interactive spin wheel to increase engagement, dwell time and product discovery.

Print & POS
Delivered wholesale brochures and A2 posters to showcase key looks, communicate product benefits, and support both education and sales conversations.

CRM & Data Strategy
Implemented a targeted CRM approach to capture customer data and enable follow-up communication, supporting product education and repeat engagement.

Digital, Animation & Video
Created a suite of digital assets, motion graphics, and short-form video content to extend reach across channels, reinforce messaging, and maintain momentum beyond launch.

Results 

The campaign delivered strong commercial impact, driving both sales and sustained audience growth across retail and digital channels.

  • £150k in product sales across 2,000+ UK doors within 3 months

  • +20% increase in social media engagement

  • +10% uplift in audience engagement across all platforms

Colour Fresh Create Instagram Story 

This Instagram Story was designed to capture attention quickly while delivering clear, concise messaging. The layout leverages strong visual hierarchy and motion-led pacing to drive engagement and guide users toward the next action.

Product Brochure

A landscape brochure was created for wholesalers to provide their customers with an overview of the new Colour Fresh Create product, including planograms and detailed information on the technology behind it.

CFC Free Standing Match
your mood Wheel

The Colour Fresh Create FSDU featured an interactive spin wheel at the top, where each spin revealed a mood based on the colour displayed in the open panel. Below the wheel, a dedicated section showcased a landscape brochure alongside product placeholders, each clearly marked to represent the different available shades.
