Making TrendVision’s creative vision into a cohesive, multi-channel experience.

Overview

Following the success of TrendVision 2022, our goal for 2023 was to elevate the excitement and anticipation around one of the UK and Ireland’s biggest hairdressing events. I set out to attract a diverse mix of participants from emerging stars  to some of the most established names in the industry, using the previous year’s competition as a springboard to create an even more impactful and memorable experience.​​

Challenge

 The key challenge was to unify a diverse set of creative outputs under one consistent direction, while ensuring flexibility for regional adaptations. With multiple stakeholders, fast-paced timelines and a wide range of deliverables, the work needed to balance creative expression with clarity, consistency and scalability.

Solution

I approached the project by first grounding the work in a clear visual framework that could flex across channels without losing impact. Working closely with the internal teams and senior  stakeholders, I helped shape and deliver multiple assets spanning across digital, print and motion ensuring each execution aligned with the broader campaign vision.

A strong focus was placed on maintaining brand consistency across all outputs, while adapting content to suit different social formats, audiences and environments. This resulted in a connected system where each asset felt intentional, considered and part of a larger whole.

Results 

The final output delivered a cohesive and scalable campaign presence across multiple touchpoints, supporting the competition

Feature Magazine Spread 

Created an engaging 4- fold spread inside of Hairdresser Journal to showcase the looks the winners of the previous created and to inspire upcoming and seasoned hairdresser to join the competition.

A4 Single Sided 

A magazine advertisement was designed for placement in multiple hairdressing publications, aimed at building awareness and excitement for the TrendVision Award final. The spread provided readers with key event details, engaging visuals, and a prominently placed QR code to easily access further information and purchase tickets online.

Create the look videos

A behind-the-scenes video was produced featuring in-depth interviews with the three guest artists Jordanna, Jake, and Christel. The film offered an exclusive look into their creative process, exploring the inspiration, themes, and artistic influences behind each of their shows. This content not only highlighted their individual visions but also built anticipation for the final, giving audiences a richer connection to the artistry and storytelling they would experience on stage

Showcase Video

Results

TrendVision 2023 was a huge achieving significant growth in audience engagement, expanding social reach, and delivering high-quality creative assets that embodied the spirit of the event across every asset. Successfully met all project deadlines while increasing engagement across all platforms through impactful print and digital materials.
